-Job Title: Purchase Engineer (RM/BOP)

Purchase Education : BE-Mech, Diploma-Mech


Purpose: Provide support in purchase function and complete the assign responsibilities on time.


*Job Description:-

1) Support for Planning & Procurement:-

-Take work instruction from Purchase Manager and provide support for day to day work management.

-Receive BOP Consumable and Hardware requirement and identify vendors. Get the quotation from vendors and make the comparison statement.

– Prepare purchase orders as per given instruction given by Manager and issue to vendors with prior approval.

-Provide support to Manager for and complete the assigned tasks as per schedule.

2) Material Follow Up:-

-Do follow up with vendors for delivery of material. Ensure material is received as per given schedule.

– Identify vendors for supply BOP Consumable and Hardware. If required, visit vendors and purchase material in case of emergency.

– Coordinate and arrange vehicle for collection of material.

3) MIS & Reporting: –

– Provide data to reporting Manager to prepare and send daily/weekly reports to Management in the provided format.

-Maintain quotation & document/reports related to purchase.

4) Information Security:-

– Should include aspects of information security in all the above responsibilities. -Must possess awareness of basic information security concepts such as confidentiality, integrity and availability.

With an M.Ed. degree and over 25 years of total experience, including 6.5 years in the industry, she has previously worked with Symbiosis and Jendamark. Since joining TechEra in 2019, she has been a witness to the company’s remarkable growth. Her leadership has been essential in aligning quality objectives with strategic goals, fostering innovation while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. She effectively coordinates with cross-functional teams, oversees audits, and spearheads continuous improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiency. Additionally, she plans conduct, and manages internal, external, and customer audits to uphold quality standards and regulations. Sonali is responsible for maintaining and managing QMS documentation, policies, procedures, work instructions and records, ensuring their accuracy and accessibility. Techera Founder and Promoter Meet Nimesh Desai is a Mechanical engineer from the University of Pune. He pursued an M. Sc in Aerospace Engineering, University of Pune. in the year 2014. He started his career as an Executive Engineer in Techcellency Engineering (India) Private Limited. Later he joined Jendamark Techcellency Engineering India Private Limited as an Assistant Manager-Projects and was promoted to Head of projects. At the age of just 26 years he started Techera Engineering (India) Private Limited and in just 5 years span of time Techera is now a Defence and Aerospace Tooling Manufacturing company and have collaborated with IDBI Capital as venture funding. He is a passionate, focused and enthusiastic individual with contemporary business idea to achieve excellence in the field of engineering.

He believes in growing with a team of strong and like-minded people. He is a new age entrepreneur with a visionary approach to take the organization on new heights. His clear vision, strategic planning, analysis and deep knowledge in the field of engineering is contributing significantly to the overall success of Techera.
